Kathmandu, July 31: In a significant step toward localizing education for sustainability, Madhesh University has officially launched a Bachelor's in Entrepreneurship Management program. Building on the groundwork laid by the InElam Project, this initiative is designed to cultivate a new generation of entrepreneurial leaders equipped to drive innovation and economic development at both provincial and national levels.
To ensure a strong context driven curriculum, the university organized a comprehensive workshop involving key academic leaders and policymakers. Participants included Dr. Deepak Shakya, Vice Chancellor of Madhesh University; Dr. Sheela Mishra, Member of the Planning Commission in Madhesh Province; Anjan Kumar Mishra, Dean of Madhesh University; Prof. Indu Shankar Mishra from Tribhuvan University; Prof. Dr. Shrikrishna Shrestha and Prof. Dr. Sushil Mathema from Kathmandu University; Dr. Budhiman Shrestha from Tribhuvan University; Sandip Poudel, an Entrepreneurship Expert from Helvetas Nepal; and Krishna Lal Karna from the InElam Project, Helvetas Nepal.
Following extensive discussions and expert input, the curriculum has been finalized and the program is set to launch this year in five affiliated colleges across Madhesh Province.
